Yukon Public Schools hosted the annual Volunteer Appreciation Brunch!
We are so thankful for all our volunteers who help our students grow in their lives everyday. We couldn't do all we do, without our volunteers. Attendees also enjoyed a wonderful performance by our Redstone Choir directed by Jenn McCoy. Our guest speaker, YPS District Teacher of the Year, Kin Grant, also knocked it out of the park with her heartwarming speech.
This year's Mentor of the Year Recipient was Whitney Bruton. Whitney is a Miller Mentor to 2 students in our district who have both made tremendous strides not only with their school work, but in their everyday lives. She has been a huge advocate for volunteers and helping our students grow.
